- In 2007, 18-year-old Katie Davis Majors left her home in Tennessee and moved to Uganda after a life-changing mission trip to the country. She never imagined how big God’s calling for her would grow, but she had a desire to please Him and a heart to make a difference. Katie began fostering sick and orphaned children, and since arriving in Uganda she’s adopted 14 of her own. Come hear Katie’s amazing story shared in her new book, Daring to Hope. Katie is the founder of Amazima – an organization that feeds, educates, and encourages the orphaned, poor, and vulnerable in Uganda.
